चित्रभानु - ‘the radiance of images’ | is a project born from absence, an enquiry into what cannot be known. My uncle passed away in 2024 and to this day I do not know how it happened or what he might’ve been feeling. Through this uncertainty I turn my attention to fleeting, unspoken fragments of life that I capture d on the journey between Delhi and his hometown the last time I went to see him as well as the first time I went to his house after his passing. The photographs do not depict him, yet they exist in the space between memory and loss, offering light to the things left unsaid.
